Stage Play Legend of Galactic Heroes Announced

According to Theater Guide news, a stage play of Tanaka Yoshiki's novel Legend of Galactic Heroes was announced to be performed in January 2011. The details of the play will be given on the official website of the project (under construction) on April 10th.

It's unknown how the large scale space fleet battles will be handled on stage.

When I looked at it, the gray uniforms for the empire bothered me as well, but I assume the black velvet costumes on a dark stage would make it difficult to see the actors, even with the spotlighting.

I can't believe there was a performance of this exactly 7 days ago in this world, and I wasn't even aware of it. Apparently, there will be another on the first of next month. I guess if it's still going, it can't be too bad. I wish I could find even a short clip of some of the acting, but all I can find are the actors talking.

The Kircheis is way too cute to be Kircheis.

EDIT: Err, or if I search in English, I get a 2:24:50 clip that covers the entire first season (focusing on the empire). Yeah, that's about what I was looking for.

I skipped ahead to around 2:08:40, and I'm crying. Hehe. :P Also, around 2:13:00 LOL.

In my opinion, almost Live action adaptations are bad, except very rare ones (ex. Nodame Cantabile )
I wonder how it could be, Maybe they would make LOGH with Star Wars' sauce ?

People in black full-body costumes maneuvering model space ships in the dark, like this?

Now that would be interesting to see. ^^

They'll probably do either drops or projections for the background. If they do drops, they'll probably make some sort of models for the ships that they'll fly in and out. If they do projections, they'll probably incorporate the ships into those.

Will European actors play in the roles of those Prussian guys from the empire and a lot from the FPA, or is it just all japanese guys with strangely colored hairs who will be actors?
