Blu-ray & DVD Release of Bakemonogatari vol.6 Postponed Until June

Release of Bakemonogatari DVD & Blu-ray Postponed Once Again

According to Sofmap online store, the release date of Bakemonogatari Blu-ray & DVD volume 6 was postponed until June 9th. It will include the final episode 15 and was supposed to be released on March 24th.

It took three months and twenty days to air the episode 14 after the release of 13. Judging from the new BD/DVD release date, the final episode will be completed a little bit faster than 14.

I just watched it one day because this guy on a blog site said it was a unexplainable show. I watched it then came here to find that it was popular! The show is so odd and different from anything I have seen!

it applies to almost anything.
and it can ruin a story or whatever it is for people who are annoyed with the extreme fanboy/girls.
before they even watch,listen,read etc. they already hate it and they might not open up to it.
had they not been exposed to E.F.B/G.'s they might've loved it.

Quality product ? Don't make me laugh. Bakemonogatari is probably the most overrated show in ages. The whole series is nothing but a freaking slideshow plus long-ass conversations pretending to be "deep". And what was up with all the split-second flashing text all the time ? The only reason I picked it up was because of Hitagi and we didn't even get very much of her although she's supposed to be the "girlfriend". The BDs/DVDs have record sales simply because the TV version was so incomplete and maybe because people want to read the flashy text by pausing every microsecond. And now SHAFT is delaying the last episode even more, even though they should afford being on time. Fuck that I say. And don't bother reading this if you disagree.

Arakawa was announced like forever ago but Negima was something I didn't know since I care less about wizard thingys. Though, I will be really hate to see sayonara zetsubou sensei being ruined like its 3rd season, if shinbou will do one... >_>

I have to agree, since although I liked Bakemono, I didn't really like all the others SHAFT created last year, and if I include our amazing vampire bundoo, this year too. They just need god damn rest.

On-topic:We waited so much for episode 14,and what did we get?Don't missunderstand.It was good but so much time for something that is just good?And doing too much is not an excuse.They are an animation company.I assume that they are professionals,not just called ''professionals''.I usually don't mind waiting.When I wait for an episode more than 2-3 months I expect it to be a masterpiece if it takes the producers so much timpe to work with it.Anyways,I hope they manage to give us a last episode that approaches the awesomness of the first arc.

Sure, bakemonogatari definitely not for everyone due to nisioisin style talking spams and distinct otaku appeals that might annoy some people. Other than that, I can't see much reason for having that much hate. Slide-shows are just something shaft 'always' do, and nothing special for me. Conversation never pretended to be deep. Half of them is actually sayonara zetsubou sensei style puns and gags; which seems most of people actually loved. SHAFT is fixing the unfinished animation and most of stop motions in their Blue-ray, and I think that makes the quality fair... I mean, it's better than DEENS not editing umineko animation errors.

Also, SHAFT did some terrible decisions on doing to much things at once, resulted on delaying everything. I'm sure they've learned a lesson. Srsly. SHAFT should stop doing too much. It's annoying for both side, production staffs and consumers... Assuming that SHAFT having no plan on any work now, I think shaft is actually trying to fix this issue, since there is no further announcement from SHAFT about production for about 6 months.

1. I consider School Days a masterpiece because the producers dared to go with the Bad End. You don't see that every day. Makoto deserved it.
2. I don't actually hate Bake, just the fact that people think it's liek the best show evar or something 'cause it sold much BDs. It's not THAT good.
3. Are you saying that all that kani/kami talk and meanings of "omoi" in the first arc is just light conversation ?
4. Never cared for Zetsubou Sensei or split-second-text-on-blackboard-jokes.
5. I like to see anime properly the FIRST time, because I might not want to watch it again for the fixed animation or uncensoring (Bund comes to mind).
6. I was too busy enjoying the pixelated gore of Umineko to notice any animation errors.
