Mayonnaise Rice To Be Served At Gintama Event

According to Oricon, a live event of Gintama was announced to be held from March 20th - May 16th at an amusement park Namco Namja Town.

Among the comical menus associated with Gintama characters, Hijikata's favorite food "Mayonnaise on the Bowl of Rice" and Gintoki's favorite "Sweet Red Beans on the Bowl of Rice" will also be served. Arguments over the pros and the cons of these menu arose in the gintama fandom like "This is quite Gintama-style." and "Real reproduction is not what we want."

I saw the thread title and was like,"I bet that's at Namja Town, it's totally something they would do."

and I was right

but then I wondered how often they do Gintama events there because there was one when I was there in 2010.

then I realized that this is a really old thread that IS referring to the event going on when I was at Namja Town in 2010.

Actually a friend of mine went to Japan and said that the mayonnaise there tastes really good. its different from the heavy strong one that we know, its light and tasty.. so maybe that's why Hijikata can eat a lot of it without feeling sick XD
