Main Cast, Additional Staff for 'Future Kid Takara' Short Anime Announced

NHK Enterprises opened an official website for the Future Kid Takara original anime on Tuesday, revealing the main cast, additional staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and a teaser promo.

The anime, originally announced as a movie, will now premiere as an 11-episode short anime, each with a duration of approximately five minutes. The anime will make its world premiere at the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025 on September 25.

Voice actors Yuuki Kaji (Shingeki no Kyojin) and Honoka Yoshida (Hi no Tori: Eden no Sora) are starring as Takara and Sara, respectively.

Producer: Shun Hasegawa (Entotsu Machi no Poupelle animation producer)
Planning Producer: Kyouko Gendatsu (NHK Enterprises), Eiko Tanaka (Kaijuu no Kodomo)
Logo Design: Eisuke Tachikawa
Scientific Supervision: Seita Emori (Professor at the University of Tokyo's Institute for Future Initiatives)
Educational Supervision: Osamu Abe (Chairman of the Japan Environmental Education Forum)

Yuuta Sano (Berserk: Ougon Jidai-hen - Memorial Edition) is directing the anime at Studio 4°C. Shinji Kimura (Genius Party, Kaijuu 8-gou art director) is designing the characters.

Was digging the art when this was first announced but now I'm not so sure. The animation from the trailer looks pretty cheap.
