'Silent Witch' Reveals Production Staff, Additional Cast, First Promo for Summer 2025

The Aniplex Stage at AnimeJapan 2025 revealed the production staff, additional cast, and first promo for the television anime adaptation of Matsuri Isora's Silent Witch: Chinmoku no Majo no Kakushigoto (Secrets of the Silent Witch) light novel on Saturday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in July 2025.

Voice actors Shougo Sakata (Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata) and Atsumi Tanezaki (Sousou no Frieren) are joining the cast as Felix Arc Ridill and Isabelle Norton, respectively.

Isora began penning the adventure fantasy light novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in February 2020. Fujimi Shobo published the first volume under its Kadokawa Books imprint in June 2021, featuring illustrations by Nanna Fujimi. The ninth volume released on February 10.

Tobi Tana began serializing a manga adaptation in B's-LOG Comic magazine in July 2021. The fifth volume went on sale on January 31.

Yen Press licensed both the light novel and manga in English and released the sixth volume on March 18. The third manga volume went on sale on September 17, with the fourth scheduled to release on July 22.

@deg As a reader of the light novels this is an exceptional work. In the right hands this will be Anime of the year material. In the wrong hands it'll probably be just ok.
