@uncleqrow There's nothing wrong with steering people towards certain views. Movies are great for teaching people about what's going on in the world or warning of what may come. Do you just want everyone to wallow in their ignorance, be entertained but ignore the realities on our planet?

Also - what do you have against one of the most famous film festivals? (Cannes)

Hmmm.... Idk abt this, seems to be embedded with somekind of environmentalist propaganda to me... or at least environmentalist sentiments. It doesn't have to be malicious or extremist ofc, but still might be a bit biased. I'm pro environmentalism myself, but I never like when RL biases infiltrates media and entertainment industries, since it has the potentials to "steer" more vulnerable ppl towards certain views, even if the view/opinions align with mine. Just feels wrong.

Moreover, titles with embedded agendas in them tends to be half-a$$ed as well. Not only in western media, but japanese as well.

But, without seeing the movie itself it's obviously too soon to judge anything. For all we know, the "extreme weather conditions, disasters, and environmental problems" might just be a side theme, relevant only in the beginning, before the story moved somewhere else. This happened before, and it will happen again. Example: Bunny Girl Senpai, the bunny girl thingy only relevant in the VERY beginning of the series, and never again.

So, yeah, just throwing some caution here. And let's just hope I'm just being paranoid and it turns out to be a good movie instead.

Edit: And it was from a film festival (Cannes) as well!? Yeah, sure didn't rly help with the case I mentioned above...
