'Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de' Unveils Additional Staff, Ending Theme, First Promo

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Tokuya Higashikawa's Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de (The Dinner Table Detective) novel revealed additional staff, ending theme, and a promotional video on Monday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 4 at 11:30 p.m. on Fuji TV's noitaminA programming block, followed by AT-X.

J-pop band BILLY BOO performs the ending theme "Rhapsody" which is previewed in the promotional video below.

Mitsuyuki Masuhara (Diamond no Ace) is helming the anime at Madhouse. Mariko Kunizawa (Honzuki no Gekokujou) is handling the series composition and Izumi Kawada (Ore Monogatari!! design assistance) is designing the characters. Takeshi Hama (Maoyuu Maou Yuusha) is composing the music

Higashikawa penned the three-volume mystery novel under Shogakukan between September 2010 and December 2012, with illustrations by Yusuke Nakamura (Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei). A sequel novel, titled Shin Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de, began in March 2021. Shogakukan published the second volume on September 18.

A manga adaptation by Aya Kawase ran in Flowers Comics α magazine from April to November 2011. Shogakukan released the second and final volume in August 2012.

I don't know what they're saying, but after this new PV I'm not too sure how good the comedy is going to be. Not too happy with these reaction faces and all the shouting...

Still checking this out in April, just with low expectations now.
