'New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt' Reveals Cast Members, Additional Staff, Teaser Promo for 2025

The official website of the New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt television anime revealed cast members, additional staff, and a teaser promotional video on Tuesday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2025.

Hiroyuki Imaishi (Cyberpunk: Edgerunners) is directing the anime at Trigger. Hiromi Wakabayashi and Hiroyuki Imaishi are handling the series composition. Shigeto Koyama (Promare), Sushio (Kill la Kill), and Masaru Sakamoto (SSSS.Gridman) are designing the characters.

Animation studio Gainax produced the 13-episode original anime, which aired in Fall 2010 and was originally created by Geek Fleet. Funimation streamed the anime with subtitles and an English dub. The company released a DVD set in July 2012 and Blu-Ray in January 2013.

Not quite, they just changed the promo visual to remove the bright pink lips. This may or may not be an indication of more changes to come.
