'Beastars Final Season' Announces Additional Cast
The official website of the Beastars Final Season net anime announced additional cast members, main promotional video and theme song for its first part on Wednesday. The first part of two premiered on Thursday, exclusively on Netflix worldwide.Cast
Leano: Houko Kuwashima (Bleach)
Deshico: Tomokazu Seki (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 6: Stone Ocean)
Korunu: Ryusei Nakao (Dragon Ball Z)
Toki: Yuko Minaguchi (Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon S)
Azuki: Ruriko Aoki (Megami no Café Terrace)
Holger: Tomokazu Sugita (Gintama)
The anime's music composer Satoru Kousaki (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto) composed and arranged the opening theme "Into the World" with rap performance by issei (Monsters: Ippyaku Sanjou Hiryuu Jigoku ending theme).
Shinichi Matsumi (Beastars) is returning to direct the net anime at Orange. Nanami Higuchi (Dungeon Meshi) is penning the script. Nao Ootsu (Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi) and Takushige Norita (Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabanai) are designing the characters. Satoru Kousaki is composing the music.
The anime adapts Paru Itagaki's Beastars manga, which began serializing in Shounen Champion magazine from September 2016 to October 2020. Akita Shoten published the 22nd and final volume in January 2021.
VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in November 2018 and shipped the 22nd and final volume in January 2023.
