'Hana wa Saku, Shura no Gotoku' Reveals Supporting Cast, Main Promo
The official website of the Hana wa Saku, Shura no Gotoku (Flower and Asura) anime series revealed two supporting cast, the theme songs, main visual (pictured), and main promotional video on Wednesday.
The television anime adapting Ayano Takeda and Musshu's school drama manga will air on January 7 at 1:29 a.m. on NTV, followed by BS NTV, Chiba TV, TV Saitama (Teletama), tvk, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and AT-X, with the exception of the first episode on 1:35 a.m.
Voice actors Kouji Yusa (Kuroshitsuji) and Youko Hikasa (Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka) are joining the cast as Hiromi Kichijouji and Shura Saionji, respectively.
Pop rock band SHISHAMO is performing the opening theme "Jibun Kakumei." Singer-songwriter Satou. is performing the ending theme "Rourou." The theme songs are previewed in the promotional video below.
Ayumu Uwano (Majo no Tabitabi episode director) is helming the anime at Studio Bind. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Shangri-La Frontier) is in charge of the series composition. Hikari Komine (Mushoku Tensei II: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu sub-character design) is designing the characters. Masaru Yokoyama (Horimiya) is composing the music.
Takeda (Hibike! Euphonium) and Musshu began serializing the school drama manga in Ultra Jump magazine in June 2021. Shueisha published the seventh volume on June 19, with the eighth volume planned for a January 17, 2025 release.
