'Nihon e Youkoso Elf-san.' Unveils Additional Staff, Main Promo

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Suzuki Makishima's Nihon e Youkoso Elf-san. (Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf!) light novel revealed additional staff and the main promotional video on Thursday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on January 11 at 1:53 a.m. on MBS, TBS, and CBC, followed by BS11, and AT-X.

Tooru Kitahara (Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei shitemita.) helms the anime at Zero-G. Aya Yoshinaga (Witch Hunter Robin) is handling the series composition and penning the script. Madoka Hirayama (Akaneiro ni Somaru Saka) is designing the characters.

Makishima began writing the comedy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in February 2017. Hobby Japan published the first volume under its HJ Novels imprint in August 2018, featuring illustrations by Yappen. The ninth volume was released in October 2023.

Sumio Aono (Watashi no Oshi wa Akuyaku Reijou.) began serializing a manga adaptation in Comic Fire magazine in December 2018. Hobby Japan shipped the tenth volume on August 1.

J-Novel Club licensed the light novel and manga in English for digital release in January 2019 and November 2020, respectively. The ninth light novel volume went on sale on August 9. The eighth volume of the manga was released on January 3, while the ninth is scheduled to go on sale on December 25.
