After the disaster that was the Uzumaki anime and the fact that Watanabe's previous anime were mediocre at best, I have no hopes for this.

@feyyazu35 im not high lol youre the one who is high here because people already know how labor exploitation is common in the anime industry overall so you claiming whataboutism on shaft and other studios comparing them to mappa is useless here when mappa themselves do labor exploitation too and guess what mappa is the focus of this conversation, not saying mappa is the worst but they are not saint like you blind fanboys are claiming

Oct 22, 2024 2:42 PM by deg

@deg Dude, are you high? You keep denying it and then you talk about Mappa lol. Dude, you have to understand that Shaft is worse than Mappa, employees at CloverWorks were hospitalized and this never happened at Mappa, A-1 Pictures also had people commit suicide from overwork, so you have to be very ignorant to say Mappa is the worst, so don't go on. If you're going to cry, cry somewhere else because Mappa is definitely not the worst, not even close

@feyyazu35 you do not know temporary hiring? what even freelancers do anyway? you lack common sense thats why it does not make sense to you

also we are talking about mappa not shaft so get out with your whataboutism

Oct 22, 2024 7:23 AM by deg

@deg Dude, that logic doesn't make sense at all. It's ridiculous to think that all freelancers working at Mappa are within the company. And the link you posted is a 2021 thread, Shaft's shit happened this year, you can research Shaft's terrible treatment of in-house Super Animator Hiroto Nagata

@Washizo Dude Hasegawa managed the project well, but he got help from Okamura and Contrail helped with 2 episodes, so you forget all that. Ogawa produces work every year, Ogawa is the only one and does not use external resources, and despite this, the project is always almost first class. Okamura has just debuted and the director has no influence in terms of connections, and Okamura is managing the project very well and has good connections. We know that Seshimo has benefited greatly from Gosso's connections, but he also has solid connections. He is not at Fukushi's level right now, but he definitely has potential. In short, I know that Hasegawa is good, even now Mappa's management is trying to fix it and make it a better company and it seems to be working, but Anip is definitely not the only good one. All Mappa's Anips are very good except Kawagoe

Oct 22, 2024 5:12 AM by feyyazu35

@feyyazu35 The only good AniP at Mappa is Hasegawa who was trained by IG. Rest are carried by Director's connections. Their AniP are terrible at management.
Fukushi (OPM, Sunny Boy) and Okada (Great Pretender, Ousama Ranking, Yaiba) are prime Animation producers. They have connections to whole industry and also good with management.
Matsunga have 1 project before Lazarus which is dororo. All the connections are from Directior Furuhashi. The production of that project melted around ep. 15. That project was no where near the quality of Fukushi, Umehara or Okada projects.

@feyyazu35 the freelancers are hired by mappa so they are their employees too even if temporary https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2021-05-18/former-mappa-animator-describes-working-conditions-as-like-a-factory/.172930

sure most anime studios do labor exploitation too but i met a lot of mappa fans excusing them or downplaying their own labor exploitation like you are doing here when mentioning shaft studio

Oct 20, 2024 10:32 AM by deg

@deg While ignoring it? I said Bucchigiri production is terrible, how could I have ignored it? Dude, exploiting employees doesn't work like that, exploiting employees is the last piece of shit that Shaft studio has done, you can research it if you want. I don't know where you heard it from, Mappa never exploited its employees, those who complained were always freelancers, so they all came by their own choice, and most of them come back, and Mappa never forces them to come, so what you say is wrong. And the reason why the employees complain so easily about Mappa is that Mappa can't get them to sign a contract and Mappa is already known for this, so it has nothing to do with the animation producer. If we look at it from your perspective, Umeraha is not talented either

Oct 20, 2024 10:28 AM by feyyazu35

@feyyazu35 thats all you blind fanboys of mappa are calling others that disagree with you as stupid and hater, typical savage fans like you are i have met many arrogant mappa fanboys like you already meanwhile im hype for lazarus and zenshu if they can deliver good and im enjoying ranma remake right now also enjoyed jujutsu kaisen especially season 2 despite the bitching of the staff about the overwork by mappa

you blind fanboys ignores the bad working conditions at mappa while they exploit the fanboy freelancers by making their favorite ips as hostages there, if their management like animation producers are top tier they would not have a bad reputation among freelancers

Oct 20, 2024 9:12 AM by deg

@deg Bucchigiri was not like that, it was an original anime and Ogawa brought in incredible names despite that terrible production, and in Oblivion Battery, Hasegawa brought in Yuuki Kawashi, one of the best photography director in the industry, and more. Dude, I'm sorry, but you're talking so stupid. It's obvious you're a Mappa hater lol

Oct 20, 2024 5:36 AM by feyyazu35

@deg Dude, you really cited Umehara as an example of Mappa's animation producers as a good one, if you want, tell me about Fukushi too lol. You must be very stupid indeed if you took Umehara as your standard. Everyone knows that Umeraha is so good that Matsunaga can compete with him, especially considering how selective Watanabe is, so we are not exaggerating Matsunaga because he is already very good. And you can't deny it, even those who don't like Mappa know that Mappa Anips is very good (outside Kawagoe)

Oct 20, 2024 5:34 AM by feyyazu35

@feyyazu35 also i heard mappa ceo is just good at negotiating to get the best source materials like manga to animate so its not like their animation producers are good now because of that in fact many hired freelance animators by them are bitching about overwork at mappa

mappa has this tactic to get the popular intellectual property source materials then obviously the talented freelance animators that are fans of the source materials too will automatically want to join the anime adaptation projects so less work for mappa animation producers that way on gathering talented staff

Oct 20, 2024 4:10 AM by deg

@feyyazu35 not really i say cloverworks animation producers beats them all alone like umehara

you people are just blind fanboys of mappa

Oct 20, 2024 3:55 AM by deg

@deg Dude, Mappa's animation producers are the best in the industry. Matsunaga, Seshimo, Ogawa, Hasegawa are all very good. Even Okamura, who just debuted, is performing very well

@Washizo
Bait not gonna work, my guy. I'm familiar with your game 💪😎

Oct 20, 2024 3:17 AM by _Rearden_

@_Rearden_ Not even top 10 in the industry but okay.
