Synopsis
You don't have to shine to have youth.

First-year high school student Uta Komaki loves to sing, but she's extremely shy, timid, and a bit of a coward. She wants to join the light music club for her high school debut, but she's too intimidated by the dazzling presence of the members to submit her application. In her moment of despair, she receives an invitation to join the a cappella club from the president, Airi Kojou...

The a cappella club is filled with unique individuals—some might say they're a bit odd. Even if they're not flashy or popular, there's a special kind of youth that connects through their voices, creating something truly unique. (Source: Pony Canyon)

@28012001 I know how they position their franchise, even so, technically it is still a multimedia bishoujo franchise that works according to all the laws of the genre. But again, no complaints. In the case of Bandori, this suits me.

from what Kidaani said, Bandori is more like bands than idol, and there is a difference in between. Plus I believe you should just try for the sake of it. Just like I'm watching for someone from Imas.

@28012001 Well, no complaints, it's just not my cup of tea. Unless it's IMAS or Bandori.

@RobertBobert Looks very much like it.

I really like the character designs, but I'm afraid that this will be another multimedia franchise with idols.

@Vindstot Thank you very much for the clarification, that is exactly what I was looking for but wasn't able to find. Then it's just a case of the title being weird, but it's not an inofficial translation as I had suspected at first. So everything can stay as it is right now.

@RobbiRobb, per Pony Canyon, Harmony of Mille-Feuille is the official English title. Source: https://x.com/ponycan_anime/status/1837756216480542916

I agree that it doesn't accurately correspond the original Japanese title, but we will stick with it, unless the anime is licensed with a different English title.

In case you just blindly copied this from ANN: Afaik it's a made-up translation by them and by no means any offiical title, but presumably it's already too late and has already spread across the Internet. However it's worth pointing out that it doesn't even fit the Japanese name, so I don't even know where it comes from. If there is no actual source behind the name, it might be worth marking this as such and/or removing it from the news as well as the anime page. Because so far it looks like every page that has this title across the web is just copying from ANN and make it look like this is the official English name of the show, but it isn't. There is no English name to my knowledge and it shouldn't be treated as such. The source also doesn't mention it in any capacity.

And just in case there is actually a source for the name: Feel free to ignore my previous comment.
