The 11th and final episode of Kinnikuman: Kanpeki Chоujin Shiso-hen (Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc) ended with a second season announcement on Sunday. The second season will once again air on the Agaru Anime programming block on CBC and TBS' 28 affiliated stations, as well as BS11 and Animax beginning in January 2025

The first season adapting the Kanpeki Chоujin Shiso-hen (Perfect Origin Arc) from Yudetamago's comedy sports manga began airing with a television special on July 7. Netflix streamed the anime with subtitles.

Weekly Shounen Jump originally serialized the manga from 1979 to 1987. Yudetamago resumed the series in ShuuPlay News web magazine in 2011. Shueisha published the 85th volume on July 4, with the 86th volume planned for an October 4 release.

Weekly Playboy serialized two sequel manga between 1997 and 2011. Shueisha released the second manga's 28th and final volume in December 2011.

To be expected, but will Netflix actually promote it? Or dub it?

Ooooh... I just did look it up. I swore it ended, but guess it ended up continuing in 2011.

Do you mean Kinnikuman Nisei ("Ultimate Muscle")? It ended in 2011, and then the original series that ends 1987 was continued.

It's going to be a lengthy series. We only covered 3 1/2 vols out of 23. And that's the just Perfect Origin Arc, there's still more content after that. The current anime is covering vols 38-60. The total volume count right now is 86 & counting. The manga is released weekly
