She is taken in by six girls: Ranna, Lili, Yuu, Fumika, Murumuru, and Rumina. However, their peaceful days are suddenly shattered when a shocking event occurs—the man who was rescued alongside Mikoto is brutally murdered. The killer is among them, and the next target could be anyone...

Set in the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, the story unfolds in this now sealed-off high-rise, where mysteries and secrets attack one after another. As bonds of friendship start to form among the girls, will they be able to uncover the truth behind the incident?

The real question is if any company will even license this in North America.

@VivavideoUser2x Yes, the original game is designed for 7-8 players and about 180 minutes of play according to the Japanese Amazon. However, judging by the photographs of the game, the original concept was more general and clearly far from the moe bishoujo concept of the anime adaptation.

@traed I don’t remember exactly the board game, but we already had adaptations of advertising, collectible keychains, a series of Twitter illustrations, etc. Even an adaptation of the Bible from a neo-Pentecostal group. So adapting a board game doesn't seem that surprising.

Huh. Has there been other board game based anime?

Looks okay enough id maybe check it out depending what else is airing then. Animation doesnt look too good it is choppy looking so they did the low frame rate CG which doesn't work well. Unless im mistaken

Reading the synopsis and seeing the poster, I would never have thought that this was a party board game, and not an adaptation of some all-female thriller manga or mobile game.

@Fail_Man_X The shows you mentioned were pretty decent multimedia bishoujo projects with quality production from reputable rights holders. In this case, the project is a complete dark horse, unless you are some kind of Japanese board games enthusiast. I'm afraid that in this case we can't even half-seriously speculate on how much an all-female cast will affect the appreciation of a usually much-criticized genre, since it doesn't even have a manga adaptation to even scratch the surface of.

Late addition to the season, and a late start to boot. The synopsis reads like it would set off the same screeching that Executioner and Her Way of Life did, but I doubt anyone will watch this, much less that the show gets licensed. But who knows? Girls Band Cry was pretty popular despite not being licensed, and Bang Dream: It's MyGO was well received by the few that watched that.
