New 'Ranma ½' TV Anime Announces Additional Cast
The official website for the new Ranma ½ television anime series announced five additional cast on Saturday. The new anime is scheduled to premiere on October 6 at 12:55 a.m. on NTV.

Tatewaki Kunou: Tomokazu Sugita (Gintama)
Kodachi Kunou: Ayane Sakura (Boku no Hero Academia)
Toufuu Ono: Toshiyuki Morikawa (Mushoku Tensei)
Mikado Sanzenin: Mamoru Miyano (Bungou Stray Dogs)
Azusa Shiratori: Aoi Yuuki (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto)
Singer-songwriter Riria. (Summertime Render, Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon) is performing the ending theme "Anta Nante."
Kounosuke Uda (One Piece) is directing the new anime at MAPPA. Kimiko Ueno (Dungeon Meshi) is handling the series composition and Hiromi Taniguchi (Youjo Senki sub-character design) is designing the characters. Kaoru Wada (InuYasha) is composing the music.
The new anime adapts Rumiko Takahashi's romantic comedy manga, which was serialized in Weekly Shounen Sunday from August 1987 to February 1996. Shogakukan published the manga in 38 volumes between April 1988 and June 1996 and later released it in two new editions in 2002–2003 and 2016–2018.
VIZ Media licensed the manga in English and released 21 volumes from May 1993 to March 2003. In May 2003, the company began publishing a second edition and released the 36th and final volume in November 2006. VIZ Media also released a 2-in-1 omnibus edition between March 2014 and March 2017.
