'Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo' Reveals Additional Staff, Second Promo

The official website of the Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo (I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History) television anime revealed additional staff, a second promo, third key visual (pictured), and the theme songs on Friday. The anime series adapting Izumi Ookido's fantasy romance light novel will air on October 2 at 12:30 a.m. on Tokyo MX and BS11, followed by 27 other channels.

Liyuu (Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman.) is performing the opening theme "Baddududu," which is previewed in the promotional video below. Rin Kurusu (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken 3rd Season) performing the ending theme "Wacchu Ane?."

Yuuji Yanase (Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni.) is directing the anime at Maho Film. Sawako Hirabayashi (Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji) is handling the series composition. Yuuko Watabe (Toaru Ossan no VRMMO Katsudouki) and Eri Kojima (Akuyaku Reijou nanode Last Boss wo Kattemimashita) are designing the characters and Moe Hyuuga (Tensei Oujo to Tensai Reijou no Mahou Kakumei) is composing the music.

Izumi Ookido began penning the fantasy romance novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in December 2018. Kadokawa published the first volume under its B's-LOG Bunko imprint in August 2019, featuring illustrations by Jun Hayase. The sixth volume was released on March 15 and the seventh volume is scheduled to go on sale on October 15.

Akari Hoshi began serializing a manga adaptation in B's-LOG Comic magazine in May 2020. Kadokawa published the fourth volume in August 2023.

Yen Press licensed the light novel and manga adaptation in English. The first volume of the light novel and manga will be released on February 18 and October 15, respectively.
