'Hitoribocchi no Isekai Kouryaku' Announces Supporting Cast [Update 9/1]

The official website for the Hitoribocchi no Isekai Kouryaku (Loner Life in Another World) television anime revealed nine additional cast on Monday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on October 4 at 12:00 a.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by BS Fuji.

Otaku D: Shinnosuke Tokudome (Kuroshitsuji: Kishuku Gakkou-hen)
Jock B: Kento Hama (Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru)
Jock C: Haruki Ishiya (Hibike! Euphonium)
Jock E: Keisuke Iwamura
Delinquent B: Fumiya Imai (Given)
Delinquent E: Youhei Matsuoka (Wind Breaker)
Delinquent F: Koudai Sakai (Odd Taxi)

Akio Kazumi (Souten no Ken: Regenesis) is directing the television anime at Hayabusa Film and Passione. Kenta Ihara (Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu) is in charge of the series composition. Keiya Nakano (Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm) is designing the characters and Shuuji Katayama (Overlord) is composing the music.

The anime adapts Shouji Goji's fantasy adventure light novel, which began on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2016. Overlap published the first volume under its Bunko imprint in January 2018. booota (Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou.) was in charge of the illustrations for the first two volumes, with Saku Enomaru taking over volume three onward. The 14th volume went on sale on April 25.

Comic Gardo began serializing a manga adaptation by Bibi in January 2019. The 19th volume shipped on April 25.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the light novel in English in February 2021 and Kaiten Books licensed the manga in English in March 2020. The ninth light novel volume went on sale on July 9, with the tenth volume going on sale on November 12. The tenth manga volume was released in December 2023.
