Manga 'Sentai Red Isekai de Boukensha ni Naru' Gets TV Anime in Winter 2025

Production company Kadokawa opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Koyoshi Nakayoshi's Sentai Red Isekai de Boukensha ni Naru (The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World) manga on Friday, revealing the cast, production staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and teaser promo. The anime series is scheduled for a January 2025 premiere.

Nakayoshi began serializing the action fantasy manga in Monthly Shounen Gangan in October 2020. Square Enix published the seventh volume on Friday.

Square Enix's Manga UP! app began publishing the manga in English last May. Kadokawa's Bookwalker platform also added the manga to its global catalog on April 16.

Synopsis
Asagaki Tougo was the Red Ranger in a heroic Ranger squad. During their final battle against the ultimate evil organization, he suffers a crushing defeat and resigns himself to death... That is, until he finds himself reborn in an entirely different world! Embracing his new role as an adventurer, he transforms into Kizuna Red and continues his pursuit of justice, helping those in need. Yes! One of my favorite manga that's my dream to see an anime adaptation. It uses Tokusatsu/Super Sentai tropes really well unlike shows like Love After World Domination or Sentai Daishikkaku, in which the Sentai element is just 'there'.

But Satelight, huh? Too bad it's not Trigger. Considering the show's nature and how over the top it is, plus Sentai tropes and mechas and such, the show'd be right up in their alley. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers I guess.

The manga is currently in finale-looking arc with around 35 chapters (not sure it'll end for real or continue a new arc) so the anime will probably adapt up to this point.
