The premise sounds fun, but the animation just isn't promising.

@Yubisoft oh okay so the problem is that it isnt tagged, not that they tagged it wrongly, got it, nothing new. It still is incredibly weird to avoid a whole demographic LOL but oh well

Yeah exactly, it is as you said . MAL is the last place for someone to look for accurate tags in general but demographic is kinda more important than your average tags but it is what it is unfortunately .

@Yubisoft where are the tags for demographic on anime usually? cause i cant see the shounen tag you say they need to fix and i I can't see it for https://myanimelist.net/anime/54744/Tokidoki_Bosotto_Russia-go_de_Dereru_Tonari_no_Alya-san for example.

There you go, https://myanimelist.net/manga/121213/Kimi_wa_Houkago_Insomnia. Both the manga and anime have demographic tag enabled for the series.

@Yubisoft As I said, I haven't read this manga so I can't add anything about the tags. I'm just saying that if it's like recent shoujo, it might become popular. But otherwise, as far as I've noticed, web manga usually don't get demographic tags for some reason.

@RobertBobert I am not doing a survey here with my comment . The fact this not tagged correctly is true , not an opinion and they have to update it if they want to have a proper up to date database and not confuse people who don't like shoujo things like me.

@Yubisoft I haven't read the original manga, but if this follows the latest shoujo SoL anime, then I think it will easily find fans. People like realistic romance without harems or idealized bishonens.

It would be really awesome if the manga and anime mods can put the shoujo demographic tag on this. Because obviously not everyone belongs to shoujo when it's about romance anime/manga. You confuse people
