'Honey Lemon Soda' Reveals Lead Cast, First Promo
The official website opened for the television anime adaptation of Mayu Murata's Honey Lemon Soda manga revealed on Friday the main leads, first key visual and first promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on Fuji TV's +Ultra programming block in January 2025.Kana Ichinose (Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo) and Shougo Yano (Given) are starring as Uka Ishimori and Kai Miura, respectively.
Hiroshi Nishikiori (Trinity Seven) helms the anime at J.C.Staff. Akiko Waba (Blue Reflection Ray) is handling the series composition and Manami Tanaka (Sugar Apple Fairy Tale) is designing the characters. Akira Kosemura (Summer Ghost) is composing the music.
Murata began serializing the school romance manga in Ribon Magazine in December 2015. Shueisha shipped the 25th volume on April 24 and will release the 26th volume on August 23.
Yen Press licensed the manga in English in July 2022. The sixth volume released on July 23, and the seventh volume will go on sale on October 15.
