Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san (Teasing Master Takagi-san) manga author Souichirou Yamamoto began a new manga, titled Manemane Nichinichi, on the August issue (pictured below) of Gessan magazine on Friday. The issue published the first four chapters.

Manemane Nichinichi features the daily life of three managers of a high school baseball team.

Yamamoto began serializing the Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san manga in Gessan Mini in June 2012, before switching to Gessan in July 2016 and ending in October 2023. Shogakukan shipped the 20th and final volume on January 12. The manga series has a cumulative 12 million copies of its volumes in print.

Yen Press licensed the manga for release in English in November 2017. The 19th volume went on sale on May 28.

Shin-Ei Animation adapted the manga into three anime seasons in Winter 2018, Summer 2019, and Winter 2022. An anime movie opened in theaters in June 2022. Crunchyroll is streaming the first season with English subtitles and a dub. Netflix is streaming the second season and HIDIVE is streaming the third season and the movie.

Yamamoto is also the original creator of the Kunoichi Tsubaki no Mune no Uchi (In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki) and Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru (When Will Ayumu Make His Move?) television anime that aired in Spring and Summer in 2022, produced by CloverWorks and SILVER LINK., respectively.

@Genoard

@Softhenic03 If my memory serves me correctly, in the past he had 3-4 active mangas running simultaneously. Although taking into account spin-offs.

From when applying logic in fiction was the right thing to do ?

Always has been. Otherwise you get a 2021 BMW 5 Series 530i in fantasy stories.

@Swagernator Pretty sure he must have already decided what to start while this one would be ongoing lol.

From when applying logic in fiction was the right thing to do ? The manga started yesterday , let's wait at least until volume 1 release to see if the author handled this concept properly....or not

Is managing school sports team really such a demanding task that three of them are needed? I've never seen more than one in other anime.

2022, not 2024 (time flies).

Really happy with what I have seen so far and I have faith in Yamamoto about everything he makes . Can't wait for the official physical English release !!!

The first chapter was quite chaotic, but it seems that this time the author decided to move away from rom-coms and CGDCT towards something in the middle in the style of co-ed moe SoL.

@Swagernator While each of their works become trending and gets an anime even despite much less hype than the original Takagi-san?

Have he ever stopped beginning new manga works ? :D
