'Botsuraku Yotei no Kizoku dakedo, Hima Datta kara Mahou wo Kiwametemita' Reveals Main Cast, Teaser Promo for Winter 2025

The official website of the television anime adaptation of Nazuna Miki's Botsuraku Yotei no Kizoku dakedo, Hima Datta kara Mahou wo Kiwametemita (I'm a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic) light novel revealed the main cast and a teaser promotional video on Thursday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2025.

Liam: Ayumu Murase (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun)
Radon: Tomokazu Sugita (Gintama)
Asuna: Haruka Tomatsu (Sword Art Online)
Jodi: Saori Hayami (Kimetsu no Yaiba)

Kenichi Ishikura (Sakura Trick) is helming the anime at Studio Deen and Marvy Jack. Tatsuya Takahashi (Saihate no Paladin) is handling the series composition and Midori Ootsuka (Aru Asa Dummy Head Mic ni Natteita Ore-kun no Jinsei) is designing the characters. Alisa Okehazama (Saikyou Onmyouji no Isekai Tenseiki) is composing the music.

Miki (Level 1 dakedo Unique Skill de Saikyou desu) began penning the adventure fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in September 2019. TO Books acquired the novel and published the first volume under its Bunko imprint in February 2020, featuring illustrations by Kabocha. The eighth volume was released on March 15. The series has a cumulative 750,000 copies of its volumes in circulation.

Rio Akisaki began serializing a manga adaptation in Comic Corona magazine in February 2020. TO Books shipped the eighth volume on March 15.

J-Novel Club licensed the light novel and manga for digital release in English on January 19 and April 5, respectively. The first light novel volume went on sale on April 4, with the second volume scheduled to be released on July 5. The first manga volume was released on May 22.

Constantly seeing stuff like "omg, I'm so happy this person is voicing this character" made me realize who the cast is is something I don't even think about until I hear their voices lol

@RobertBobert Personally, the cast doesn't influence my choice of whether or not to watch an anime, even if there are some seiyuu I really like.
