Entertainment company Kotowari opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Ibarakino's Fuguushoku "Kanteishi" ga Jitsu wa Saikyou Datta: Naraku de Kitaeta Saikyou no "Shingan" de Musou suru (The Unfavorable Job "Appraiser" Is Actually the Strongest) light novel on Wednesday, revealing a teaser visual (pictured). The television anime is scheduled to premiere in 2025.

Ibarakino began penning the fantasy adventure novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in December 2019. Kodansha acquired the novel and published the first volume under its light novel imprint in October 2020, featuring illustrations by Yuu Hitaki. The third volume is scheduled to be released on July 2. The series has a cumulative 900,000 cumulative copies of its volumes in circulation.

Morohoshi Fuji began drawing a manga adaptation in Magazine pocket in July 2020. The 11th volume went on sale on March 8, with the 12th volume scheduled for a July 9 release.

Kodansha USA licensed the manga adaptation for digital release in English in September 2021. The 10th volume went on sale on April 30.

Synopsis
In a fantasy world where "jobs" are god-given from birth, heroes are born, not made...and Ein's job of "Appraiser" has put him about as far from the "hero" pedestal as possible. Used, abused, and eventually abandoned by his fellow adventurers, Ein decides it just isn't worth going on... Lucky for Ein, though, the end may just be the beginning...and a new lease on life. Turns out, his "worthless" job may just be the key to becoming a hero after all... (Source: Kodansha USA)

Oh boy! Generic anime nice guy who becomes OP because the world owes him for his life being hard and his harem of one-dimensional, generic anime girls. Haven't seen that one before.

@madbrain4192 I'll use the same comment for the next adapted CGDCT.

@Yubisoft The synopsis reminded me of an isekai where the hero created a farm thanks to peasant super powers.

@RobertBobert Not the best out there but I personally really like it because the quality of the story and worldbuilding remains consistent and how the main protagonist is not an edgy lunatic and works hard to gradually develop his powers because ... spoilers , without becoming too confident . Also the characters around him are also very well written and very well designed . I only read the manga version so I can't compare with the LN but if the studio does it's best(respecting the source material) and doesn't cut stupid corners then I am confident that the anime will be very good!

@Yubisoft This must be a really good no-isekai fantasy LN if you're praising it.
