'Gimai Seiketsu' Unveils Additional Staff, Theme Songs, First Promo
The official website for the Gimai Seikatsu (Days with My Step Sister) television anime series revealed on Sunday additional staff, theme songs, and first promotional video. The anime will premiere on July 4 at 9:00 p.m. on AT-X, followed by Tokyo MX, BS11, and Kansai TV.

Pop band fhána (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon) performs the opening theme "Tenshi-tachi no Uta" and Kitri (Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu.) is performing the ending theme "Suisou no Buranko."
Takehiro Ueno (Sasaki to Miyano assistant director) is helming the anime at Studio Deen. Mitsutaka Hirota (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) is handling the series composition and Manabu Nii (Akiba Meido Sensou) is designing the characters. CITOCA is composing the music.
The anime adapts Ghost Mikawa's romantic comedy light novel which began on a YouTube channel they launched for the series in April 2020. Kadokawa began publishing the series under its MF Bunko J imprint in January 2021, featuring illustrations by Hiten. The tenth volume shipped on January 25.
Yumika Kanade began drawing a manga adaptation on the Shounen Ace Plus web magazine in July 2021. Kadokawa published the third volume in September 2023 and will release the fourth on June 25.
Yen Press licensed both the light novel and manga in English in 2023. The light novel's third volume is scheduled to go on sale on June 28 and the manga's first volume released on May 21.
