@Elior21 No, Chiyo didn't caused any major uproar. That's just confirmation bias effect, even during her first introduction manga chapters it was still a minority in the West that initially disliked her. Late on, there is barely any haters left of her. In Japan, the main audience and market for the series there wasn't any outrage by Chiyo whatsoever. So of course there won't cut her if season 3 ever happens.

Wow this sequel came fast, great stuff for fans. Let's go!

@Elior21 From a Western perspective it's possible, but I don't think they care enough about a foreign audience to go that far. This isn't one controversial chapter that you can just delete like with the Ayakashi Triangle license.

@RobertBobert but isnt it weird that she will become rentarou girlfriend if we consider what her connection to him before that?

Jun 13, 1:04 AM by Elior21

@Elior21 I don't think they will cut the character or abandon the third season because of this. It would look too forced.

Jun 12, 3:01 PM by RobertBobert

@RobertBobert that girl will be only in season 3 maybe you will know here by name. the one i talking about is chiyo. that why i not sure there will be season 3 to adapt her arc

Jun 12, 3:00 PM by Elior21

@Elior21 it all depends on whose arc is impactful enough to close out the season.

@RobertBobert i asking because that particular girlfriend coused quiet an uproar among manga readers consider what her connection to rentarou

Jun 12, 2:50 PM by Elior21

@Elior21 I don't have any inside information, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get a third season in the future.

Jun 12, 2:40 PM by RobertBobert

@RobertBobert do you think we will get more then 2 seasons if we consider who is the 12 girlfriend you and i talked about after season 1 ended ?

Nice to Rie Takahashi joining the crew as Iku in S2 😍
Would love to see more popular VA's joining in S3 and so on

@DatRandomDude Well, that's to be expected considering most of the VAs on these projects are signed to their own talent agency. If they started promoting Amane outside of D4DJ and Bandori, then they really saw enough potential in her.

@RobertBobert Bushiroad is also involved in 100 Girlfriends so for Amane, not really lol

Jun 8, 11:59 AM by DatRandomDude

Oh, if I understand correctly, Amane got her debut outside of Bushi projects?

@Yubisoft I hope that was very clear sarcasm. Because I'm soon starting to think that half the shows in the '20s had Rie as one tomboy or another.

One of the very best anime to start the new year

Rie Takahashi .... finally. So happy that they finally recognized her talent and gave her a role for this anime . She has taken very very few anime roles in recent years and especially this year so it makes happy that they finally chose her for a role. Hopefully in 2025 they will choose her for more anime roles ....
