'Boku no Tsuma wa Kanjou ga Nai' Unveils Additional Pair of Cast

The official website of the Boku no Tsuma wa Kanjou ga Nai (My Wife Has No Emotion) television anime unveiled two additional cast members on Wednesday. The television anime is scheduled to premiere on July 2 at 11:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by MBS, BS Asahi, and AT-X.

Risae Matsuda (Momochi-san Chi no Ayakashi Ouji) and Yuuki Wakai (Temple) are joining the cast as Rihito Saionji and Mamoru, respectively.

Fumihiro Yoshimura (Tsundere Akuyaku Reijou Liselotte to Jikkyou no Endou-kun to Kaisetsu no Kobayashi-san) is helming the anime at Tezuka Productions. Mitsutaka Hirota (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) is handling the series composition, and Zenjirou Ukulele (Kanojo mo Kanojo chief animation director) is designing the characters. Kanade Sakuma (Akuyaku Reijou nanode Last Boss wo Kattemimashita), Hanae Nakamura (Majo to Yajuu), Natsumi Tabuchi (Adachi to Shimamura), and Miki Sakurai (5-toubun no Hanayome) are composing the music.

The anime adapts Jiro Sugiura's romantic comedy manga, which began serializing in Comic Flapper in August 2019. Kadokawa published the seventh volume in October 2023.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in December 2020 and released the sixth volume on January 16.

@MomoSinX I haven't read the original manga, but I think it's the Xena and Hercules effect. When the author ran out of ideas for one fantasy setting and just pulled out "all the myths are true" trope

I am reading the manga and at some point it goes into very weird directions but since that happens relatively far, the anime will likely adapt only the good stuff.
