We lost a real anime legend from the 70s, who had a wonderful elegant voice to her pioneer characters Fujiko Mine and Honey Kisaragi, amongst other roles.
Ms Masuyama, thank you for your great performances. May you have a great reunion with your Lupin crew.

Rest in Peace.
It could be the way they count someone's age in some cultures.
In Korea, the moment you are born, you are "1 year old", and age increments every New Year, instead of on your birthday. Quick googling tells me that this system has been abolished in Japan a long time ago, only some in the older generation keeping it, but I can't confirm.

NHK must have made a mistake. If she was born in 1936, she cannot have been 89 at the time of the death.

Fujiko's voice actress from Part 1 is still alive.
NHK must have made a mistake. If she was born in 1936, she cannot have been 89 at the time of the death.
Rest in Peace, legendary VA.

It's amazing how she could manage to keep her sexy voice despite her old age. It looks like all main seiyuu of Lupin III passed away, rest in peace...

I didn't even realize that the original voice of Fujiko was such an industry veteran. Rest in peace.
