Manga 'Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria' Receives TV Anime in Summer 2024

Bandai Namco Filmworks opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Fujino Omori and Toshi Aoi's Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria (Wistoria: Wand and Sword) manga on Thursday, revealing the main cast, production staff, a teaser promo, and a teaser visual (pictured). The television anime is scheduled to air in July 2024 on TBS' 28 affiliated stations.

Kouhei Amasaki (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu) and Akira Sekine (Princess Principal) are starring as Will Serfort and Elfaria Alvis Serfort, respectively.

Omori (Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka) and Aoi began serializing the action fantasy manga in Bessatsu Shounen Magazine in December 2020. Kodansha shipped the ninth volume on February 8.

Kodansha USA licensed the manga for release in English in November 2021. The sixth volume went on sale in October 2023, and the seventh volume is set for a March 12 release.

Synopsis
Seeking to fulfill a promise to a childhood friend, Will Serfort enters Regarden Magical Academy with the goal of making it to the top of the magical world. There's just one problem: he can't use magic! Will his sword skills be the key to unlocking his true potential? (Source: Kodansha USA)

Fujino Omori is truly eating well, i'm looking forward to this one.

Started some of the chapters of the manga way back when but never committed to keep up and follow it so idk if i'll get back into it before this airs.

@Piromysl dude, they were bought by Bandai a couple of years ago. They are doing perfectly fine making GuP and PP movies once 1,5 year and making an odd series here and there. And as people said, they just made Classroom of Heroes like last season and it even aired with no delayed episodes.
