'Shuumatsu Train Doko e Iku?' Reveals Additional Staff, Opening Theme, Second Promo for Spring 2024

The official website of the Shuumatsu Train Doko e Iku? (Where Does the Apocalypse Train Go?) television anime revealed additional staff, the opening theme, and the second promotional video on Thursday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in April 2024.

Rei Nakashima (Sugar Apple Fairy Tale Part 2) is performing the opening theme "GA-TAN GO-TON," which is previewed in the promotional video below.

Tsutomu Mizushima is directing the anime at EMT Squared. Michiko Yokote (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san) is in charge of the series composition. Asako Nishida is also designing the characters.

@Tropisch The KV for School-Live! looks similar, and while the characters seem relaxed most of the time, they sure don't stay that way.

There isn't a lot of anime about trains.

I appreciate that they're not revealing all that much in the 2nd PV, since it's an original it can really go whatever direction. They definitely teased some supernatural things happening, but context needs to be waited for, I'd be very interested in a psychological or horror mystery anime if it gets down to that.

Honestly not sure. This is the kind of series you have to wait till the actual episodes. It could be a cute girls but actually dark and psychological or a trash cute girls doing cute things. Time will only tell.
