Main Staff, Teaser Promo for 'Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru' Revealed

The official website of the Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru television anime revealed the main staff, a teaser promotional video, and a Christmas visual on Sunday. The anime series adapting Kagiri Araido's romantic comedy manga will air in April 2024.

Director: Masayoshi Nishita (Allison to Lillia)
Series Composition: Yukie Sugawara (Sentouin, Hakenshimasu!)
Character Design: Nagisa Takahashi (Mahoutsukai Reimeiki chief animation director)
Music: Tomoki Hasegawa (Nazo no Kanojo X)
Studio: Gekkou

Shinichiro Miki (Bleach: Sennen Kessen-hen) and Mamiko Noto (Shy) are starring as Seizou and Ine, respectively.

Araido originally launched the manga on their official Twitter and Pixiv accounts in October 2019. Web magazine Comic Alunna began serializing the manga in July 2022. Kadokawa published the seventh volume on August 16.

Did Mamiko Noto bet with someone that she could masterfully voice all possible archetypes of mother characters? First the evil matriarch in G-Witch, now the rejuvenated grandmother here. Amazing mastery of the motherly roles.

The manga is wholesome and relaxing and I can't wait to see the anime . And of course I can already predict that it is gonna be extremely underrated . Can't wait
