Great Pretender: Razbliuto Reveals Main Cast, First Promo, Winter 2024 Premiere

The official website of the Great Pretender: Razbliuto original anime revealed the main cast members and a first promotional video on Tuesday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on February 23 at 12:00 a.m. exclusively on DMM TV in Japan and screen in North American theaters on January 9 and 10.

Dorothy: Yuka Komatsu (Appleseed Alpha)
Jay Jiang: Shunsuke Takeuchi (Vinland Saga Season 2) NEW
Ai Yang: Yasuhiro Mamiya (Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia) NEW
Lin: Kazuyuki Okitsu (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken (TV)) NEW
Yiqi Wang: Yasuyuki Kase (Naruto) NEW
Tsai: Mitsuaki Kanuka (Overlord IV) NEW
Bingyan: Mariya Ise (Made in Abyss) NEW
Makoto Edamura: Chiaki Kobayashi (Jigokuraku)

Note: New cast members involved with the anime series are denoted with the legend NEW.

Hiro Kaburagi (91 Days) is helming the anime at Wit Studio. Taku Kishimoto (Blue Lock) and Hiro Kaburagi are handling the series composition. Hirotaka Katou (Mahoutsukai no Yome) is designing the characters and Yutaka Yamada (Vinland Saga) is composing the music.

@perseii If it helps, someone in the comments suggested that since we were talking about “North America,” then there would be some kind of screening in Canada as well. But in any case, I’m glad that it was at least somehow useful.

@RobertBobert Nope. But not a bad list of theaters, I was expecting like 4-5 screens.

Hope enough people check it out, so that we get more of this kind of arrangement in the future.

@MegamiRem At the moment, the official website only contains brief descriptions of the characters, such as that Dorothy has lost her memory (The Season 2 version of her also has a separate profile), that the new guy and girl "seem to be dating in the past" (?) or that the new characters are mostly scammers and gangsters of Chinese origin.

If anyone has information about where in North America they're screening this, please share. I'm not very hopeful it'll come to where I live, given it's 2 days only.

I've never thought about seeing Great Pretender in a movie theater, but now I can't stop thinking about it. Imagine that gorgeous Singapore plane sequence from Season 1 on a giant screen...
