'Dandadan' Reveals Main Cast for Fall 2024 Debut

The Jump Super Stage Blue revealed the main cast and a second teaser promo for the Dandadan television anime on Saturday. The anime series adapting Yukinobu Tatsu's action supernatural manga will air in Fall 2024.

Cast
Momo Ayase: Shion Wakayama (Lycoris Recoil)
Ken Takakura: Natsuki Hanae (Kimetsu no Yaiba)
Turbo Granny: Mayumi Tanaka (One Piece)
Serpo: Kazuya Nakai (Gintama)

Fuuga Yamashiro (Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na! assistant director) is directing the anime at Science SARU. Hiroshi Seko (Chainsaw Man) is handling the series composition, and penning the script. Naoyuki Onda (Inuyashiki) is designing the characters, and Kensuke Ushio (Devilman Crybaby) is composing the music.

Tatsu began serializing the manga on the Shounen Jump+ web magazine in April 2021. Shueisha published the 12th volume on December 4.

VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in February 2022. The fifth volume went on sale on October 10, with the sixth volume scheduled for a January 9 release. Shueisha is also publishing the manga in English on its Manga Plus website and app.

i heard its split cour too so good for production schedule again with that october 2024 release i just hope they managed their production time well and deliver awesome consistently

Luffy as Turbo Granny will be hilarious,specially because that grandma have a foul mouth.

With Fall being appointed we don't have to worry about production, which is great. It's gonna take a while but it will be worth it.

@MegamiRem I haven't read the manga, so based on the teaser and the illustrations I saw, I expected her voice to be similar to Mikoto.

No way Luffy as Turbo Granny lmao and Zoro on too. I had a gut feeling that Natsuki Hanae will get the role as Ken.

Only in the fall? Is this such an expensive anime? Or do they just want to increase the hype?

@MegamiRem Takina and Tanjiro promise to be an interesting combo lol. I just have one question. Did the MC of this manga have a strict and reserved voice? Judging by her portfolio, Shion has most of her roles in this style.
