@Swagernator It'll be baseball bat in case of slightest bit of weight gain and failing to maintain the hourglass norm:)

Japan is running out of content, we'll see such things soon.

@Softhenic03 Yeah, i can't wait to see an idol being harassed by their "fans" for dating then being beaten by their manager with a wooden stick, and then have their head shaved all that in a sakuga animation.

True korean experience.

The singer's voice in the PV has some STELLAR voice like a comet in the sky.

@Softhenic03 Well, Oshi no Ko contains quite a lot of insider stuff, as Aka is a big fan of Japanese entertainment and even interviewed some of the actors and idols while working on the manga. But if we talk about first-hand material, then if you wish, you can even find 3-4 manga about the nuances of AV idol's working in the porn industry. From silly ecchi to psychological drama.

Just a matter of time, and I believe we'll soon see animes over the journey and hardships of kpop idols.

The Vocalist sounds exactly like Hoshimachi Suisei from hololive.

@ZXEAN If earlier animators were overworked due to too expensive and large shows, now because of too many projects taken on.

Cloverworks is currently working 8 anime which will release in 2024; Wherelse Mappa at the moment have only announced 4 anime for 2024.

The official website gives a rather interesting look at the work. Starting with calling CloverWorks "Bocchi the Rock's studio" and ending with a strange phrase about friendship with "beautiful girls from the north, south, east and west." Also, what's that shot with the guy? I never thought that I would somehow connect someone from Nogizaka and straight romance.

@Swagernator Love Live made them like this a long time ago because the original anime idol concept was too shoujo-ish.

If there is one thing i'll give to those idol stories, its that they are basically sport dramas ... and those are always a good watch.

So this is about an irl idol? Seems interesting.

This looks so nice, just saw it on the Aniplex channel. Hopefully I’ll be able to remember this whenever it releases since it’ll be a while until then :]

I am so shocked and happy!!! Finally I can see Kazumin's work and in the form of my favorite media (anime). She's one of my favorite idol, and I've always wanted to read the novel since I learned about her writing it. Would still read it if I find a translaton of it.
