Manga 'Hoshifuru Oukoku no Nina' Gets TV Anime
Production company Nikkatsu opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Rikachi's Hoshifuru Oukoku no Nina (Nina the Starry Bride) manga on Thursday, revealing the main cast and a teaser visual (pictured).
Cast
Nina: Minami Tanaka (Watashi no Yuri wa Oshigoto desu!)
Azure: Yuuichirou Umehara (Kanojo ga Koushaku-tei ni Itta Riyuu)
Sett: Kouki Uchiyama (Horimiya)
Rikachi began serializing the fantasy romance manga in Be-Love magazine in October 2019. Kodansha shipped the 11th volume on August 10, and the 12th volume is scheduled to be published on December 13.
Kodansha USA licensed the manga for digital release in English in February 2021 and published the tenth volume on August 15.
Hoshifuru Oukoku no Nina won the 46th Kodansha Manga Awards in the Shoujo category in 2022.
Synopsis
Nina had a rough start to life, stealing to survive—and eventually being sold into slavery by her own brother. But to her surprise, her captor, Prince Azure, ordained that she would live the life of a princess...specifically, that of the recently deceased princess-priestess, Alisha. But despite her changing fortune, Nina won't give up her old life without a fight...and Azure might just be the one to finally match her wits. But how much can she trust Azure? And can she stop the feelings budding in her heart, knowing she must eventually marry another...? (Source: Kodansha USA)

If you like shoujo manga, I think you will like this work. Or rather, if you like shoujo manga, you've probably already read it or at least heard of the title.
However, if this work is going to be made into an anime, it seems that "Chihayafuru," whose sequel serialization started in the same magazine, will not be made into a sequel anime for the time being... I thought.
