'Spy x Family: Code: White' Movie Announces Additional Cast
The official website of the Spy x Family anime series announced additional cast for the Spy x Family: Code: White movie on Friday. The movie is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on December 22.Cast
Dmitri: Tomoya Nakamura (Toutotsu ni Egypt Shin)
Luka: Kento Kaku (Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni)
Snyder: Banjou Ginga (Baki)
Type F: Shunsuke Takeuchi (Vinland Saga Season 2)
Takashi Katagiri (Spy x Family assistant director) is helming the movie at Wit Studio and CloverWorks. Ichirou Ookouchi (Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo) is penning the script. Returning staff includes Kazuaki Shimada (Yakusoku no Neverland) and (K)NoW_NAME (Dorohedoro) as character designer and music composer, respectively.
Spy x Family adapts Tatsuya Endou's action comedy manga, which he launched in Shounen Jump+ web magazine in March 2019. Shueisha published the 11th volume on April 4 and will release the 12th volume on October 4.
The first anime season produced by Wit Studio and CloverWorks aired in split cours in Spring and Fall 2022. Crunchyroll simulcast the anime with subtitles and subsequently began streaming an English dub. The second season is scheduled to premiere on October 7.
VIZ Media began publishing the manga in English on its Shounen Jump platform in September 2019 and published the ninth volume on March 21. The tenth volume will go on sale on October 17. Shueisha's Manga Plus service also began simulpublishing the manga in English in March 2019.
