'Hi no Tori: Eden no Sora' Unveils Additional Cast, Second Trailer
Disney+ Japan revealed two additional cast, key visual (pictured), ending theme, and a second trailer for the Hi no Tori: Eden no Sora (PHOENIX: EDEN17) anime on Monday. The four-episode anime is scheduled to premiere worldwide on Disney+ on September 13.
Shintarou Asanuma (Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei) and Ryouhei Kimura (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun) are joining the cast as Makimura and Cain, respectively.
British choir group Libera performs the ending theme "Eien no Kizuna," which is previewed in the trailer below.
Shoujirou Nishimi (Mutafukaz) helms the anime at Studio 4°C. Katsunari Mano (Death Note: Light Up the New World live-action movie) and Hanasaki Kino (Kaijuu no Kodomo) are penning the script. Tatsuzou Nishida (Bakemono no Ko animation director) is designing the characters and Takatsugu Muramatsu (Omoide no Marnie) is composing the music.
The anime adapts Osamu Tezuka's Hi no Tori (Phoenix) manga, which originally began in July 1954 in Manga Shounen but did not finish due to the magazine's suspension in May 1955. A new story began in Shoujo Club the following May, but it also was not completed and ended in December 1957. Tezuka began writing a new story for the series in January 1967 in COM, however, it remains incomplete due to his death in February 1989.

@-Humphrey- They will only adapt the Nostalgia arc with this series, so yes, 4 episodes should be enough.

Does anyone who has read the manga think it will be enough to adapt all these chapters with just 4 episodes? I expected like 12 episodes or a movie
