'Yuru Camp△' Season 3 Reveals Main Staff, Returning Cast, 2024 Premiere

The official website of the Yuru Camp△ television anime series revealed on Sunday the main staff, returning cast, and a teaser visual (pictured) for the third season. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2024.

Director: Shin Tosaka (IS: Infinite Stratos 2, Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars)
Series Composition: Masafumi Sugiura (Uma Musume: Pretty Derby, Barakamon)
Character Design: Takanori Hashimoto (Kitsutsuki Tanteidokoro main animator, Nakitai Watashi wa Neko wo Kaburu animation director)
Music: Akiyuki Tateyama (Yuru Camp△, Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki)
Sound Director: Takeshi Takadera (Yuru Camp△, "Oshi no Ko")
Studio: 8bit

The main cast, composed of Nao Touyama, Yumiri Hanamori, Aki Toyosaki, Sayuri Hara, and Rie Takahashi, are reprising their roles from the previous entries.

C-Station produced the first and second season in Winter 2018 and Winter 2021. The studio also produced the Heya Camp△ (Room Camp) short spin-off which aired in Winter 2020 and the Yuru Camp△ Movie that opened in theaters in July last year. Crunchyroll simulcast both seasons, the spin-off, and the movie with subtitles.

Yuru Camp△ adapts Afro's slice of life manga, which began serialization in Manga Time Kirara Forward in May 2015 before transferring to Comic Fuz in 2019. Houbunsha shipped the 14th volume on November 10.

Yen Press licensed the manga in English in April 2017. The 13th volume went on sale on April 18 and the 14th volume is scheduled to release on October 17.

Ay my favourite relaxing anime is back. I don’t really mind the character designs, I watch the show for the relaxing feel, which hopefully isn’t affected by the studio change, although I think the show is too simple to mess up badly.

Funnily enough S3 went to 8bit they missed their chance to have Yuusuke Yamamoto direct this. Considering the parallels between Yuru Camp and Yama no Susume it could have worked out well.

What kind of prodigy is needed to be the director for a such a simple anime.?

Yeah because Mal's ratings "represents" the majority of the people's opinion about infinite Stratos and regalia. Surprise..... They don't. Also the new director won't direct a new season of chainsaw man but an extremely slow paced slice of life camping anime. Relax

And the new art style is just kind of ugly as well.

If it comes out winter 2024 that will be perfect because then it will be an exact 3 year difference between every season.

Not sold on this new artstyle/character design at all. Though thankfully there's a movie which felt like a good closure anyways.
