'Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha' Reveals Additional Pair of Cast, Third Promo
The official website of the Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha (The Dreaming Boy is a Realist) television anime series revealed on Saturday a pair of additional cast and a third promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on July 4 at 2:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo, followed by BS NTV, MBS, Shizuoka Broadcasting, and AT-X.
Kaori Ishihara, who voices Rin Shinomiya in the anime, is performing the opening theme "Paraglider." Akiho Suzumoto performs the ending theme "#Yume wa Mijikashi Koi Seyo Otome" as her character Aika Natsukawa. The opening theme is previewed in the promotional video below.
Kazuomi Koga (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) is directing the television anime at Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ. Michiko Yokote (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san) is in charge of the series composition. Miyabi Ozeki (Shuumatsu no Harem) is the character designer.
Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha adapts Okemaru's romantic comedy light novel, which began on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in December 2018. Hobby Japan acquired the novel and began publishing under the HJ Bunko label in June 2020, featuring illustrations by Mizore Saba. The eighth volume was released on April 1.
Popuri Yoshikita began serializing a manga adaptation on the Shounen Ace Plus magazine in March 2021. Kadokawa released the third volume in November 2022.
