Funk rock band BRADIO (Death Parade) is performing the opening theme "Fanfare," which is previewed in the promotional video below.
Noriaki Akitaya (Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo) helms the anime series at Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ. Tatsuya Takahashi (Saihate no Paladin) is handling the series composition and Takahiro Sakai (Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru) is designing the characters.
Hiru Kuma started writing the comedy fantasy series on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in March 2016. Kadokawa began publishing the light novel with illustrations by Itsuwa Katou under its Sneaker Bunko imprint in August of that year. The third volume shipped in February 2017.
Kunieda began drawing a manga adaptation in Dengeki Daioh last August. Kadokawa is scheduled to release the second volume on March 25.
Yen Press licensed both light novels and manga in English. The third and final volume of the light novel was released in December 2018. The manga's first volume shipped on April 18.

As has been said before many times, this is unironically a pretty damn good story.
It was written a few years ago, before the massive wave of generic Isekai really hit.
unbiased opinion. its okay first chapter for the gimmick the rest is as generic as it goes
