P.A. Works Produces 'Komada Jouryuusho e Youkoso' Original Movie for November 2023

An original anime movie by animation studio P.A. Works titled Komada Jouryuusho e Youkoso (Komada: A Whisky Family) was announced by e-commerce company DMM.com on Friday. Movie distribution company GAGA simultaneously opened an official website, revealing the main staff, cast, a teaser visual (pictured), and teaser trailer. The movie will open in Japan in November 2023.

Komada Jouryuusho e Youkoso will be screened at the 2023 Annecy International Animation Film Festival's Contrechamp section, which is scheduled to run from June 11-17.

Synopsis
Koutarou visits Komada Distillery for a project on Japanese craft whisky. Led by young female president Rui, who took over the family business, the distillery works hard to reproduce its signature whisky, Koma, which they had to stop making years ago. However, not to mention financial backing, too many clues are missing to revive the once lost whisky. (Source: Annecy Festival, edited)

See "PA Works original movie", immediately thought of Sayoasa but was slightly disappointed that it's just their working theme in movie format.

Idk what to feel about this because their working theme anime usually has vibrant casts with tons of character progression which will not work in this format.

New P.A. Works' workplace anime, NICE!! I like all of them, and two are on my favorite list. The whisky distillery theme is also very interesting.

Oh, that's interesting. So it's most likely going to be a workplace drama or something, pretty cool original movie project from P.A Works, I suppose what this will actually be like in tone remains to be seen though.
