Fourth 'Aquarion' TV Anime 'Myth of Emotions' Announced

Production company DMM pictures opened an official website for a fourth installment of the Aquarion anime series titled Sousei no Aquarion: Myth of Emotions on Monday, revealing a teaser visual (pictured) and an announcement promo.

The original mecha franchise, created by Shouji Kawamori and animation studio Satelight, began in 2005 with the 26-episode Sousei no Aquarion anime series. Aquarion Evol, the second installment, aired in 26 episodes in Winter 2012. The third and latest entry in the franchise, Aquarion Logos, premiered in Summer 2015. Funimation licensed all three series and streamed them with subtitles and English dubs.

What's with all the negative comments man. I really liked this series! I'm so glad they're doing another installment of it. Hopefully it's an actual show instead of just a cash grab opportunity.

I don't know why they keep trying to revive this dumpster fire. Evol completely ruined it with the supposed "romance" between Silvie and a freaking dog instead of appollonius. How can they ruin it further?

The only thing I'm familiar with from this franchise is the OP "Genesis of Aquarion" but I'm surprised that something so old would get another installment.

Been interested with this series for a while, I know nothing about it other than the OP song is such a banger and the mecha kinda reminds me of Getter which is a plus for me.

I should probably start watching the first one soon.

Orgasm gattais are back! Weird choice to bring back Aquarion, considering how bad Logos sold. This is such a Kawamori move. Also I hate how the show is now nearly 20 years old.

It's a weird and quite unique franchise, so it's kinda hard to explain. A modern comparison would be something like Darling in the Franxx, just a bit more crazy and with less annoying characters and better plot. The first show and EVOL are connected, but Logos was standalone IIRC, so this could be anything.

Let's hope it's at least better than the previous one. I can't even remember what happened there.
