Light Novel 'Ishura' Gets TV Anime Adaptation
Yuuki Kaji (Shingeki no Kyojin, Nanatsu no Taizai) is starring as Yanagi no Tsurugi no Soujirou. Reina Ueda (SSSS.Gridman, Lord El-Melloi II Sei no Jikenbo: Rail Zeppelin Grace Note) is voicing the character Tooi Kagizume no Yuno.
Keiso originally began penning the action fantasy novel on the Kakuyomu website in June 2017, followed by Shousetsuka ni Narou the following month. Kadokawa began publishing the series with illustrations by Kureta under its Dengeki no Shin Bungei label in September 2019. The sixth volume shipped last July, with the seventh volume scheduled to be released on February 17.
Meguri began drawing a manga adaptation in Monthly Shounen Magazine in March 2021. Kodansha published the second volume in December 2021.
Yen Press licensed the light novel in English in September 2021 and shipped the second volume in September 2022. The third volume is planned for a March 21 release.
Ishura placed first in the tankobon category in the 2021 Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! rankings, receiving the most votes of any series in the guidebook's history. The light novel placed fifth in the same category in the 2022 edition.

Although I do appreciate it having a single word for a title, rather than four hundred. It's a small thing, but as much as I can hope for in this day and age.

The synopsis sounds like if it was a Light Novel.
The source is the light novel.
I hope that the series will also be good as the PV.
it seems like there's two seperate entries for the anime on my end? both under pending approval but with different covers and one has the demographic, themes, and duration filled out. not sure if it's just me or an error or something, just letting youse know
It happnes here sometimes. Then one got removed. Don't know why.

I heard that it is very battle-shounen. Is it true?

Otherwise, the PV looks good (Although it is a PV, so that's to be expected), and the concept seems pretty interesting.
I'll definitely be looking forwards to this when it releases (most likely later this year or sometime next year), and I'll probably also check out the LN in the meantime.

Shame. The premise is the sort of thing that in the hands of an established, skilled writer - or frankly just anyone not affiliated with Shousetsuka - could have something interesting to say, but I have absolutely no expectations seeing it attached to an anime. I mean just look at that protagonist's hideous face and stupid cape. Shuddering each time they said "sekai" in the PV is enough of a warning.
