'Dekiru Neko wa Kyou mo Yuuutsu' Reveals Main Cast, Staff, Summer 2023 Premiere
The official website of the television anime adaptation of Hitsuji Yamada's Dekiru Neko wa Kyou mo Yuuutsu (The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today) manga revealed on Thursday the main cast, staff, and a key visual (pictured). The anime is scheduled to broadcast in July 2023 on the Animeism programming block.Hiroki Yasumoto (Hoozuki no Reitetsu) and Yui Ishikawa (Shingeki no Kyojin) are starring as Yukichi and Saku Fukuzawa, respectively.

Yamada began drawing the slice of life comedy manga as a web comic on the challenge section of comico in October 2017. The manga began serializing on the Suiyoubi no Sirius magazine in August 2018. Kodansha shipped the seventh volume on February 9. Dekiru Neko wa Kyou mo Yuuutsu has a cumulative 900,000 copies in circulation.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in February 2021. The fifth volume went on sale in December 2022, with the sixth volume scheduled to be released on June 13.
