'Ragna Crimson' Unveils Main Cast, Staff, First Promo

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Daiki Kobayashi's Ragna Crimson manga revealed on Friday the main cast, staff, teaser visual (pictured), and the first promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2023.

Ragna: Chiaki Kobayashi (Tomodachi Game)
Crimson: Ayumu Murase (Ousama Ranking)
Leonica: Inori Minase (Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka)

Director: Ken Takahashi (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!!)
Series Composition, Script: Deko Akao (Hitomi Mieno) (Vanitas no Karte)
Character Design: Shinpei Aoki (Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen sub-character design)

Kobayashi began serializing the action fantasy manga in Monthly Gangan Joker in March 2017. Square Enix shipped the 11th volume on August 22. The publisher also licensed the manga in English under its Manga & Books imprint in November 2019 and will release the seventh volume on November 22.

The manga's artwork is so amazing that I'm concerned the anime won't live up to it. This deserves Jujutsu Kaisen or Demon Slayer level animation.

This looks cool, the art style looks pretty nice. Also really like the key visual. At least this is a proper fantasy anime, although did I spot that one bad guy wearing suit armor or something. The dragons look like they've been made with 2d animation in most of the shots where they are visible, which presumably means something to someone. Crimson looks cool
