Broadcast of 'Birdie Wing: Golf Girls' Story Season 2' Postponed to Spring 2023

The official website of the Birdie Wing: Golf Girls' Story anime announced on Wednesday that the broadcast of the second season will be delayed to April 2023 due to various circumstances, revealing a teaser promo. The second season was scheduled to premiere in January 2023.

Bandai Namco Pictures produced the first season of the original sports anime, which aired in Spring 2022. Crunchyroll simulcast the first season with subtitles as it aired in Japan.

People speculate the main animation staff who worked on BIrdy Wing got more busy with current Iruma season than they wanted too.

Over Iruma? I never thought of this show as requiring a lot of animation.

It doesn't look like the studio has had any technical issues before. So, Bamco is too busy promoting the new Gundam? Although if I remember correctly, the second cour of the Witch was also supposed to take place in the spring.
