'Chainsaw Man' Announces Supporting Cast

The official website of the Chainsaw Man television anime announced on Friday six additional cast members. The anime series adapting Tatsuki Fujimoto's action adventure manga will premiere on October 12 at 12:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo, followed by Niigata Broadcasting, TV You Fukushima, AT-X, and Animax.

Angel Devil: Maaya Uchida (Noragami)
Beam: Natsuki Hanae (Tokyo Ghoul)
Galgali: Yuuya Uchida (Soul Eater)
Prinz: Saori Gotou (Steins;Gate)
Akane Sawatari: You Taichi (Princess Principal)
Samurai Sword: Daiki Hamano (Tomodachi Game)

Ryuu Nakayama (Jujutsu Kaisen episode director) is helming the series at animation studio MAPPA, with Hiroshi Seko (Dorohedoro) handling the script. Kazutaka Sugiyama (Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu) is designing the characters and Kensuke Ushio (Devilman: Crybaby) is composing the music.

Fujimoto launched the horror action manga in Weekly Shounen Jump in December 2018, after ending Fire Punch in Shounen Jump+ in January that year. The manga concluded its first part in December 2020 and began part 2 with chapter 98 on July 12. Shueisha shipped the 12th volume on October 4.

VIZ Media released the first three chapters in English simultaneously with the Japanese release as a part of its Jump Start initiative and subsequently serialized it in their digital Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The company now simulpublishes the manga on its Shounen Jump platform and shipped the 11th volume on June 7. Shueisha's Manga Plus service also began simulpublishing the manga in English last January.

They weren't 40+ in their original shows when they got those VAs. This is more than obvious. On this I stop any dialogue with you, because I do not want to receive another insult.

I though that yuuma will voiced together with mayayan, and actually the name who voiced galgali is yuuya uchida because of their similar names

I'm sure she'll do a good job, but after finishing "Toilet-bound Hanako-kun" recently, I had been hoping that Angel Devil would get Mitsuba's voice actor or another male voice actor who had a similar range/capabilities as him. Ah well.
