'Hikari no Ou' TV Anime Announces Main Cast
The official website of the Hikari no Ou (The Firecatcher Lord) television anime announced the main cast members on Wednesday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2023.
Cast
Touko: Misaki Kuno (Made in Abyss: Retsujitsu no Ougonkyou)
Koushi: Shouya Ishige (Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru)
Akira: Maaya Sakamoto (Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei)
Roroku: Yoshimasa Hosoya (Megalo Box)
Kira: Saori Hayami (Spy x Family)
Hinako: Megumi Yamaguchi (New Game!)
Junji Nishimura (Basilisk: Ouka Ninpouchou) is helming the anime at Signal.MD. Mamoru Oshii (Vlad Love) is handling the series composition and penning the script. Takuya Saitou (Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On) is designing the characters and Kenji Kawai (Mob Psycho 100) is composing the music.
Holp Shuppan began publishing Rieko Hinata's post-apocalyptic fantasy novel in December 2018, featuring artworks by Akihiro Yamada (The Twelve Kingdoms). The fourth volume shipped in September 2020.

Am I the only one who finds it funny that their VAs look more colorful and charismatic than the characters themselves?
Can't complain, her voice suits the loli-ish characters perfectly.
