Nitroplus, Shochiku Announce 'Revenger' Original Anime

Production companies Nitroplus and Shochiku announced an original anime titled Revenger on Friday. An official website was simultaneously opened, revealing a teaser visual (pictured) and promotional video.

PV reminds me of Dororo and Yasuke. This pv is visually similar to the mappa project.

How is this different from Western showrunners who often just announce the title and release year?

They do know that when you announce something, you need something to announce? What is anyone supposed to do just the information that an anime will be coming out. No plot, no staff, nothing. It's almost enough to put me off the whole thing right off the bat.
