'Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni' Reveals Main Cast, Teaser Trailer
The official website of the anime movie adaptation of Nao Iwamoto's Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni (Land of Gold, Land of Water) manga revealed the main cast and a teaser trailer on Wednesday. The movie will open in Japan in Spring 2023.Actor Kento Kaku (Wotakoi: Love Is Hard for Otaku live-action film) is starring as the male lead Naranbayar. Minami Hamabe (Hello World) is starring as Sarah, the female lead.
Kotono Watanabe (Btooom!) is helming the movie at Madhouse. Fumi Tsubota (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san) is handling the script, and Mitsuyuki Masuhara (Diamond no Ace director) is the animation supervisor.
Iwamoto ran the josei romance manga in Monthly Flowers magazine from October 2014 to April 2016. Shogakukan published it in a single volume in July that year.
